YEAR 1 1- Sign up to a Plastic compensation plan (we propose packages to suit all different plastic compensation needs, from 5% to 100% of the production/use of plastic). As a first-year pilot, BIOPRO decided to compensate for 50% of their plastic production. By acquiring Plastic Recovery Guarantees, they were able to demonstrate to their customers their commitment to fight plastic waste in the environment and to be part of the change. 2- As part of the loyalty program strategy, they also launched their own NFT collection backed with plastic recovery guarantees on the Plastiks Marketplace to promote their brand together with the fight against plastic pollution. Fans could complete challenges like following the brand on social medias or uploading a selfie with a product of the brand to earn points and eventually receive a free NFT of BIOPRO’s sustainable collection. Each NFT from BIOPRO’s collection was recovering 100 Kg of plastic from the environment and the awareness campaign has been a success both in terms of reputation and new signups.
YEAR 2 3- After the success of the first-year pilot, BIOPRO decided to compensate for 100% of their yearly production to obtain the Platiks certification for Plastic Neutrality. 4- In year 2, BIOPRO also attached new utility to their NFTs, offering discounts and product giveaways for the most sustainable fans. BIOPRO invited their customers to join them on the journey to fight plastic pollution. The fans could create their profile on the Plastiks Marketplace, compensate for their own plastic consumption and be rewarded with perks by BIOPRO for their sustainability action. 5- A special part of their NFT collection was put for sale. Those special NFTs were future flavors and potential flavors in the pipeline. The buyers of those NFTs were rewarded with being the very first persons to try that new product or a year’s subscription where they were getting BIOPRO’s products in the mail every month. When the full collection was sold, BIOPRO together with its customers had promoted the guarantee that 10000 tons of plastic have been recovered. With Plastiks NFTs, BIOPRO was able to reach in a new and innovative way passionate customers, new customers and people who want the next level of community or want access to limited time offers and new products. As a result of this strategy, BIOPRO increased the customer loyalty by allowing current customers to invite friends and family to sign up and take part in this campaign to reduce plastic waste in the environment. This strategy drove sales and brand awareness to the next level for BIOPRO.
